“We’ve learned in the past ten years a lot about Megans law,” says Senator Dean Skelos who sponsored that legislation originally. “How it works but also what we need to do to change the law and reform it.”

CASPER, Wyo. - Wyoming's sex offender registration law is weak because the state does not post all offenders on the Internet, does not register juvenile offenders, fails to have a single phone number to access information about offenders and lacks a civil commitment law, according to an advocacy group.

List of offenders incomplete on Megans Law website (KSBY-TV)
The Megans Law website has had more than 70 million hits since December, however many convicted sex offenders are exempt from being listed online. The Department of Justice manages the Megans Law website, which lists by county and city the location of where convicted sex offenders are living.
