Yucaipa ordinance would expand restrictions on where sex offenders can live (The Press-Enterprise)
The Yucaipa City Council on Monday night approved the first reading of an ordinance that bans registered sex offenders from living within 2,000 feet of child day care centers. The ordinance, which would amend the municipal code, will return to the council April 27 for adoption and, if passed, will go into effect 30 days later, on May 27.
