Holiday keeps sex offenders restricted (Daily Journal)
Supervising sex offenders is difficult any time, but Halloween poses special challenges for authorities. For the third year, the state Parole Board has invoked special restrictions for sex offenders during all Halloween events, according to board officials.

For the second straight year, New Jersey believes a curfew will help protect the little monsters on Halloween. The state Parole Board yesterday reimposed a curfew prohibiting registered sex offenders from opening their doors during trick-or-treating hours. If a parole officer or other law enforcement official comes knocking, though, the offenders are ordered to let them in.
